The construction of three training workshops on the premises of Lakada College in Daba Jvari, a small town in Tsalenjikha Municipality, is nearing completion.
The workshops equipped with the latest equipment, will offer vocational students practical training courses in flooring and tile works, installation of plasterboards, as well as painting. The project is implemented by the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry of Education and Science and its cost is estimated at GEL 500,000.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Tamar Kitiashvili got acquainted with the construction process of the college. She discussed the needs and development prospects of the school with the Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Nino Vibliani, together with the representatives of the local self-government.
Lakada College implements priority educational programs in the fields of agriculture, information technologies, construction, electricity, garment manufacturing, culinary and financial services tailored to the needs of Tsalenjikha and the surrounding municipalities. The college also offers integrated programs and short-term training courses.
