The final event of the information campaign - "Access to Vocational and Higher Education for Ethnic Minorities" was held.
The project is implemented by the Office of the state minister for Civic Equality in collaboration with the Department of Education and Science, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Association, and the Centre for Civic Integration and Interethnic Relations.
Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education and Science attended the final event of the project and spoke about the educational programs that the Ministry offers to ethnic minorities at all levels of education, in conjunction with assisting them in learning the state language, vocational training and civic integration.
Lia Gigauri - Deputy State Minister of Georgia for Civic Equality, Adam Schmidt - Director of the Office for Democracy, Human Rights and Governance (USAID / Georgia), together with Shalva Tabatadze -Chairman of the Board of the Centre for Civic Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations spoke about the results and the importance of the project.
Certificates were awarded to young volunteers for gathering a much-needed information.
