The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulates every citizen of Georgia on Independence Day.
"Congratulations on the most important national holiday of our country - Independence Day!
Today, first of all, we honour and bow before all people who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for independence.
May 26 is the most important date in the history of our independent state, which has become a symbol of the victory. The events between 1918 and 1991 and the quest for independence are examples of how we can continue to push hard for democratic development to build a knowledge-based European state.
I would like to express my gratitude to our foreign partners. Their support is truly invaluable."
