The prevalence of the virus in public schools in Georgia remains low. Existing statistics already provide an opportunity to say that the 2020-2021 school year will end inside the school buildings.
According to statistics, from May 29 to June 4, monitoring and mandatory testing confirmed the virus nationwide in 0.2% of teachers and school administrators and 0.05% of students.
In the event of a virus outbreak, point restrictions will still apply to schools.
Teacher testing at public and private schools continues uninterrupted. The safe environment in schools is systematically monitored by both the first persons of the Ministry and the local educational resource centres.
