Before the start of the Unified National, General Master and Teacher Examinations in the country, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Nunu Mitskevichi discussed with the members of the Examination Organizing Committee all the organizational details that will ensure the safe and complete observance of the examination process.
It should be noted that the exam organizing group will be headed by Deputy Minister Nunu Mitskevichi, who met with representatives of all agencies involved in the examination process and heard information on the preparation of the exams. It is important that in addition to the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Examinations Centre and the Education Management Information System, the Ministry of Education and Science, the National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health, the Tbilisi City Hall, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as Telasi and pepresentatives of Energo Pro Georgia, MagtiCom and Skytel oversee the examination process.
At the meeting with the deputy minister, within their competence, all the agencies confirmed their full readiness that the examinations will be organized at the highest level.
Additionally, the deputy minister, together with the members of the group, is actively working on the issue of how to involve covid-positive entrants in the examination process. The public will receive detailed information about this.
Equipping all examination centres for is almost complete. This year, national exams will be held in 25 examination centres, 11 of which are in Tbilisi, 3 in Kutaisi, 3 in Batumi, and the rest are located in Zugdidi, Rustavi, Gori, Akhaltsikhe, Telavi, Ozurgeti, Poti and Khulo.
The Unified National Examinations of 2021 will start on July 1 with the Georgian Language and Literature Examination. The student grant competition will be held on July 28, and the general master's exam candidates will take the master's exam on July 27-30.
