During the visit to Imereti region, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Nunu Mitskevichi visited the examination centres of Kutaisi and got acquainted with the process of preparation for national exams.
The Deputy Minister wished success to the entrants and expressed hope that despite the difficult academic year, each of them will be able to successfully enter the desired university. According to her, in 2021 additional examination sessions will be held for those entrants who could not take the exam due to virus infection. An additional exam in each exam subject will be scheduled no earlier than 2 weeks.
It is noteworthy that the examination process started on July 1 and is still going uninterrupted in full compliance with the recommendations set by the Ministry of Health. 25 examination centres have been opened throughout Georgia.
The Unified National Examinations started with the Georgian Language and Literature Examination, and from July 14 teachers and those who want to teach will be involved in the process. The student grant competition will be held on July 28, and the general master's exam candidates will take the master's exam on July 27-30.
