"Labour Safety Ambassador" - a new project is launched to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the workplace. Students of higher education institutions accredited in Georgia will be involved in the project. They will participate in the process of raising the awareness of employers in the workplace together with labour inspectors. Selected students will undergo special training before engaging in the awareness-raising process.
A tripartite memorandum of cooperation was signed by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Nunu Mitskevichi, Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs, Tamar Barkalaia and Head of the Labour Inspection, Beka Peradze.
The Labour Safety Ambassador project aims to improve control over the implementation of general and sectoral recommendations designed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the workplace.
