On July 14-16, practicing teachers also had the opportunity to demonstrate competence in professional skills.
Testing in Mathematics, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Aesthetic Education, Sports, and Information and Communication Technologies is also conducted in Russian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani for those who teach or want to study in non-Georgian language schools.
Teachers and those interested in teaching joined the examination process on July 14. More than 28,700 applicants have registered for the Teacher Subject Test and to prove their subject and professional competencies. About 2,800 of them applied for the senior special education exam, which is being held for the first time this year.
It should be noted that in 2021, the exam process will not exclude those examiners who will be diagnosed with Covid-19 infection during the exams. Before the end of the examination period, one additional examination session of the relevant subject is scheduled for them. The Center is authorized to invite additional subjects for an additional session at least 14 days after infection is detected. However, the additional session will be held only once per subject. Participants in this examination session will be identified by the National Center for Assessment and Examinations based on information provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.
All the regulations developed by the Ministry of Health are observed in the examination centres. The centres are fully equipped with air conditioning system and special spaces are provided for the examiners who have the temperature on the ground.
