The British Council, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the National Center for Teacher Professional Development, is implementing the project "Online Teacher Society - Georgia".

The British Council will start registering teachers participating in the project on the online platform Future English Online Teacher Community and offering them continuous professional development opportunities from September 2021.

The British Council will partner with partners to create an online community of English language teachers and test new systems of continuous professional development support in the Georgian reality. As a result, it will be possible to create a unified national platform of the "e-Education House" for all subject teachers.

As part of the partnership project, the first phase involved the selection of facilitators for the online teacher community. Currently, 130 facilitators are involved in the project.
