In order to raise awareness about vocational education, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation, continues the information campaign "Choose your future profession".
As part of the campaign, another open day for future vocational students was held at the College "Information Technology Academy". At the online meeting, those interested in learning more about the current programs received full information on the employment prospects and the general industry trends.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Tamar Kitiashvili addressed the participants of the Open Day and wished success to the future students. Additionally she thanked the campaign organizers and college representatives for their efforts to develop and promote vocational education.
The Academy of Information Technology graduates' employment rate is 100%, as the programs offered by the college are the most in demand in terms of information technology. In 2019, the school won the National Award for the best college of the year, based on the international academy "CISCO".
College enrolment in 2021 has been announced for the most in-demand programs in the field: Web Technologies, Information Technology Support, Computer Networking and Systems, and Computer Network Administration.
Applicants also have the opportunity to choose an integrated web technology program, receive a full general education in parallel with mastering the profession, and as a result, a diploma equal to the school diploma.
In addition, the College is announcing admission to a dual program in Information Technology and Computer Networks and Systems, where the learning process will take place both at the College and in partner organizations. Through the dual program, the graduate will be able to master both the profession and gain practical work experience.
