13 years have passed since the start of the 2008 Russia-Georgia war.
The President of Georgia, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, and members of the Cabinet of Ministers laid a garland at the Mukhatgverdi Brothers Cemetery and paid tribute to the memory of the dead.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “I respect and bow to the memory of the soldiers and civilians killed in the August 2008 war. The heroes of our time sacrificed themselves for the unity of Georgia and its bright future. Thanks to each of them for their dedication and sacrifice. Generations will be raised on the example of this heroism!”
