The Text-books for Students from Socially Vulnerable Families

In
2010, for the first time, text-books will be distributed free of charge to all
students from socially vulnerable families.
The Government has allocated 8 million GEL for this program. Distribution
of the textbooks will start from September 1 and will last till September 14.
The text-books will be placed at “Maneji”
(Address: 5 Beliashvili Str. Near restaurant “Babilo”) and school principals and representatives of Education Resource Centers will take the text-books to schools and distribute them among schoolchildren.
The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia visited “Maneji” today. By the announcement of Dimitri Shashkini, distribution of text-books will start from September 1. In the future, these text-books will be given to school libraries so that other vulnerable students can use them.
