About "Eurostudent 8"

The field work of “Eurostudent 8" has been completed.

The survey was conducted from April 2022 to July 2022 using a standard electronic questionnaire. A total of 4971 students of 57 authorized higher educational institutions of Georgia participated in the research.

The research sample is representative in the following parameters:

  • The region in which the higher educational institution is located;
  • Type of higher educational institution (university, teaching university, college);
  • Degree of the program;
  • Field of study;
  • Students’ gender;
  • Students’ age;
  • Students’ citizenship (Georgian citizens / international students).

The obtained data was transformed into 677 study variables/indicators. The data obtained through research is currently being filtered and analyzed.

The main aim of the research is to study following topics of students’ studies and living conditions:

  • Current state of study;
  • Students’ educational background and accessibility;
  • The impact of covid-19 pandemic;
  • Study conditions;
  • Digitalization of the educational process and students’ lives; 
  • Living conditions;
  • International mobility;
  • Mental health and well-being;
  • Experience of discrimination.

The report of the research will be completed in the summer of 2023.
