The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, appointed Doctor of Philology and teacher - Gia Murghulia as a consultant in general education issues. 

According to the Minister Amilakhvari's decision, a working group in the direction of general education will be created in the ministry, which will be headed by the minister himself, and coordinated by Gia Murghulia. 

The aforementioned group will actively work in schools across Georgia in terms of improving the educational process and promoting the development of the quality of education.

Gia Murghulia has many years of experience in the field of education. In different years, he was a teacher, school director, rector of the Central Institute of Teacher Qualification and Training of Georgia, chairman of the Association of Georgian School Administrators, member of the Tbilisi City Council and others. The famous philologist is actively engaged in scientific and literary activities in parallel with his teaching activities. Gia Murghulia is also the author of a number of educational publications, projects and programs.
