Minister of Education and Science Dimitri Shashkini delivered personal computers to three high school students under 12 who won the Literature and Arts Contest on Olympic theme.
The contest lasted from 1 January 2009 until on 1 June 1 2009. It was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Georgian National Olympics Committee. Up to 100 public school students throughout Georgia were engaged in the contest.
The President of the European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey, the European Olympic Committee Secretary General Rafaele Panoci and the Olympic Committee presidents of 11 countries attended the awarding ceremony event.
