The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, held a working meeting with directors of private schools and representatives of associations, within the framework of which he discussed the challenges in general educational institutions and various ways to overcome them.
Giorgi Amilakhvari introduced his views on the development of general education to the meeting participants and received information about the existing problems. The minister also answered the questions raised by the attendees.
Additionally, during the meeting, Giorgi Amilakhvari emphasized that at any level of education, whether it is a public or private educational institution, taking care of quality improvement is the main priority and responsibility of the Ministry. Therefore, the active involvement of the private sector in the process of making specific decisions is particularly significant.
Furthermore, the minister also stated that in the development of general education, it is important to carefully supervise and observe of the development of private schools and the ministry will be their active supporter in this regard.
In turn, the representatives of private schools and associations thanked the Minister of Education and Science for their cooperation and expressed their readiness to work in coordination with the Ministry.
It should be noted that owing to the initiative Minister Amilakhvari, meetings with representatives of private schools and associations will have a permanent nature.
