The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia recently convened a working session with Lydia Christman, the Head of Development Cooperation Service at the German Embassy, along with representatives from the German Reconstruction Credit Bank (KfW), the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), and PEM consult.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the Tbilisi Center of Excellence project, particularly in the logistics and construction sectors, as part of the collaboration between the Ministry and KfW. PEM consult, a consulting firm, presented the business model for the Center of Excellence to the minister. Key aspects of the centre’s development were discussed, including the professional educational programs to be implemented at the Center, the selection process for vocational education teachers, as well as intricate details of the centre’s construction and the financial aspects of the project's execution.
