Supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and initiated by the Vocational Skills Agency, Rustavi hosted the "Best Regional Cooperation of the Year" awards ceremony, with Deputy Education and Science Minister Nodar Papukashvili in attendance.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Minister Papukashvili praised the competition's finalists, wishing them continued success and presenting them with their certificates.
The event was notably hosted in Rustavi, following the municipality's 2022 accolade as "Best Regional Supporter of the Year" within the same competition. This year, "Blacks" College emerged as the winner of the "2023 Best Regional Cooperation" competition, thanks to their collaborative project with Kedi and Shuakhevi municipalities.
Joining the celebrations was Solomon Pavliashvili, Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, along with regional state trustees, municipal mayors, and regional professional education institution representatives.
The competition, established in 2022, aims to showcase exemplary collaborations between regional professional educational institutions and local municipalities/self-governments throughout Georgia, fostering and rewarding their joint efforts.
