The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Giorgi Amilakhvari was hosted by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov in Baku.
The parties conversed about the long-term strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan and discussed topics of enhancing cooperation.
It was mentioned that the sectoral partnership between the countries will be even stronger in the future - among them, the joint projects in education and science will be given special attention.
Giorgi Amilakhvari expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan for their hospitality and mentioned that the close partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan in education and science will aid in bringing the countries even closer. According to Giorgi Amilakhvari, there are ongoing intensive cooperation, with active involvement of the counterpart ministry in order to implement joint educational projects.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov expressed great respect for Georgia and the Georgian people, and conveyed his full readiness for strengthening future cooperation.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Alexander Tsuladze, Deputy Minister Nodar Papukashvili and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan Zurab Pataridze.
