The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, accompanied by First Deputy Minister Aleksandre Tsuladze, is currently on a working trip to Dubai to participate in the 2024 World Government Summit.
During the summit, Minister Amilakhvari convened with the United Arab Emirates' Minister of Education, Ahmad Belhoul Al Falah. They deliberated on the launch of collaborative educational initiatives and potential future cooperation between their respective countries.
Following the dscussions held by the parties, a memorandum of understanding was signed, signifying a commitment to enhance the educational and scientific partnership between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates across various levels.
The memorandum outlines plans to support the organization of joint educational and scientific exchanges, share knowledge of emerging technologies, and facilitate exchange programs targeting educators, trainers, experts, and students.
Additionally, it's notable, that Giorgi Amilakhvari and Aleksandre Tsuladze's visit coincides with that of Georgia's First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, who delivered an address at the SDGs in Action event during the 2024 World Government Summit.
