With the financial backing of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth, 19 state and private higher educational institutions from Georgia are participating in the annual international exhibition organized by the International Education Association (NAFSA) in New Orleans, USA.
During the exhibition, representatives from Georgian higher educational institutions, accompanied by Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth personnel, are engaging in meetings with representatives of various foreign universities. These discussions focus on enhancing cooperation, developing joint programs, and facilitating student, academic, and administrative staff mobility.
NAFSA is renowned as one of the largest and most prestigious international exhibitions in the higher education sector, attracting participants from over 100 countries and 200 organizations.
It is noteworthy that the internationalization of higher education is a key priority for the Georgian government. As part of its internationalization policy, the state is implementing several significant projects aimed at supporting universities in establishing joint educational programs and attaining international accreditation.
