Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, officially inaugurated the "Army Camp" project at the Sergeant Academy named after Giorgi Ankshelidze in Kojori, accompanied by Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Irakli Chikovani, and Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvari. 

During the event, the participants congratulated the local community on the camp's opening and emphasized the significance of the project. 

This year, the "Army Camp" project has expanded to include three locations: Sachkhere, Kojori, and Akhalkalaki, hosting a total of 2,160 10th and 11th grade students. The camp spans 6 days per session, with subsequent streams of students rotating through these locations, totaling 8 streams. 

"Army Camp" is a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia and the Ministry of Defense, offering students an adventurous, engaging, and diverse educational program. 

The project aims to foster patriotism among the younger generation, promote a healthy lifestyle, and cultivate a national mindset. Such initiatives deepen students' understanding of critical issues including civil security, Georgia's defense system, activities of the Georgian army and defense forces, among others. 

In addition to recreational activities, various units of the Defense Forces and the National Defense Academy engage with students at the "Army Camp," organizing informative and educational sessions.
