A graduation ceremony was held at Tbilisi State Medical University, attended by Giorgi Amilakhvari, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia.
The Minister addressed the audience, congratulating the graduates on completing their studies and wishing them success in their future endeavors. Irakli Natroshvili, the Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, and the deans of various faculties also participated in the event.
This year, Tbilisi State Medical University celebrated the graduation of over 1,100 students, including those from undergraduate programs in the International Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Public Health, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Nursing, and Obstetrics.
For more than 100 years, Tbilisi State Medical University has played a vital role in the development of higher medical education and medical sciences in Georgia. Currently, the university offers a diverse range of programs, including pre-diploma (single-step, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral), post-diploma, and continuing professional development qualifications for medical and pedagogical staff.
