Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, together with the air company “Airzena Georgian Airways” is launching the new competition Become an Aviator throughout Georgia.
Competition is designed to identify talented youth, make aviation more popular and involve adults in this field. The best individual and group projects will be selected as the result of the competition. The competition is free so the schoolchildren of any form are able to take part in it. Jure will evaluate represented models and paintings and identify the winner.
In the scope of the competition, representatives of “Airzena Georgian Airways” will hold meetings at schools in order to explain the terms of the competition to the participants.
Winners will be awarded with special prizes of the company and MES.
By the announcement of the First Deputy Minister, Koka Sepherteladze, these competitions support the youth to identify their diverse possibilities.
For the first time, this competition was held in 2007-2008academic years and was broadly responded by schools throughout Georgia. More than 100 schoolchildren took part in Become an Aviator. They created the models of airplanes, draw paintings and expressed willingness to become aviators. Two participants were enrolled in the Institute of Aviation.
