Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues and the leading Universities of Georgia have been implementing the joint program “Study in Georgia” in 2010.
The program is developed for the youngsters, living in Turkey.
In the scope of the program, 20 young people will be enrolled in State Higher Educational Institutions of Georgia without exams in the first academic year.
Tuition fee for these students will be fully covered by the state education grant. Students will be provided with the scholarship during the academic year. They will study in Georgian.
Teaching of Georgian language is envisaged in the program during the first year.
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini, State Minister for Diaspora Issues, Mirza (Papuna) Davitaia and Rector of Tbilisi State University, Aleksandre Kvitashvili met 20 youngsters from Turkey, who wished to take part in the program “Study in Georgia”.
These youth will be enrolled in Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University from October 5,2010 without exams.
