By the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, pilot program of the project Computers For Everyone will be launched from October 11.
The project is designed to give all social groups of society opportunity of buying desired computer or notebook for the special price. Cost of these computers will be 1-4 GEL per day on the credit during 2 years.
Corporation Intel implements the project Computer For Everyone together with MES. Partners of the project in Georgia are the companies Alta, Algorithm and TaoPrivatBank.
“Making computers accessible for the youngsters, students, as well as professors and teachers in the century of technologies is very important. Increasing the usage of computers will positively influence on the quality of education. It will support economic development as well. The project was successfully implemented in the different countries of the world. It will be successfully implemented in Georgia as well” – noted First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Sepherteladze at the briefing held in Radisson Blue Iveria.
Expert of Intel and consultant in state projects, Robert Fogel arrived in Georgia to hold the project presentation.
In the scope of Computers For Everyone, one can find computers and notebooks in the stores of Alta and Algorithm in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi. The pilot project will be launched on October 11. On October 22 the program will be officially commenced.
