The schoolchildren of Public School №81 will be given sports classes at the new stadium from now on. Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini opened the stadium today.

“By the initiative of MES, stadiums and gyms were renovated in all public schools of Tbilisi. The schoolchildren will be given the sports classes in the new gyms. Refurbishing the sport infrastructure is very important in order to teach the schoolchildren healthy way of life” – noted Minister of Education and Science.

After developing the sports classes, 24 sport leagues were established in the Public Schools. The schoolchildren compete in these 24 types of sports. Football and duel classes are given in Public School №81. The schoolchildren will be taught the football at the new stadium.

Stadiums were renovated in 30 Public Schools throughout Tbilisi. Gyms were refurbished in 70 schools. Rehabilitated sports infrastructure is in compliance with the modern standards and enables to prepare the schoolchildren in different types of sports.

560 schoolchildren study in Public School №81. Georgian, Armenian and Russian sectors operate in this school.
