In the scope of the program Teach And Learn With Georgia, another group of foreign teachers arrived in Georgia. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Nodar Surguladze held a meeting with volunteer teachers.
Deputy Minister Nodar Surguladze and coordinators of the program spoke about the details concerning the program implementation at the meeting, that was held in the hotel D-Plaza.
Nodar Surguladze thanked the teachers for the support and arrival.
Program Teach And Learn With Georgia has been launched in the public schools of Georgia since the new academic year. Making assessments of the program is already available.
Schoolchildren as well as the teachers positively evaluate participation of the foreign teachers in the lessons. Adults are interested in the classes given by the volunteer teachers. Schoolchildren get familiarized with the Western values, culture and traditions and study the language at the same time. Our foreign guests get introduced to Georgian culture and traditions as well. According to them, they easily adopt in the Georgian environment. Many of them are seriously interested in Georgian language.
The program will cover hundreds of schools by the end of the current year and afterwards, it will be commenced in all public schools.
