Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Irine Kurdadze visited the boarding-school №202 for the Visually Impaired Children and participated in the campaign, organized by the Insurance Company “Alpha”. High qualified doctors of “Aversi” clinic provided visually impaired children with the free medical examination with the support of MES and organization of the Insurance Company “Alpha”.
The schoolchildren of the school №202 were examined in five directions: ophthalmology, neuropathology, otolaryngology, cardiology and echoscopy. In the scope of the campaign, “Aversi” foundation provided the school with 33 different drugs free of charge.
Aim of the campaign was examining the health care condition of the beneficiaries, identifying patients with chronic diseases and planning the preventive measures.
Insurance Company “Alpha” was established in 2009. It is actively involved in providing with the health care insurance state program vulnerable families, displaced people, settled in the compact regions, artists, painters and laureates of Rustaveli prize. According to the General Director of the Company “Alpha”, similar campaigns will be still held.
