Teachers Were Awarded at MES for the Best Lessons

3 teachers were awarded with prizes for the given best lessons through the netbook.

MES and National Center for Teacher Professional Development announced competition of the best lesson for the class tutors being involved in the pilot program Netbooks for the First Graders.

Aim of the competition was to support integration of informational-communication technologies in the education system and share experience among the teachers.

Teachers who participated in the competition, created education resources for the first graders in the disciplines included in the National Curriculum. These resources envisage working with netbooks in the teaching process.

The Selection Commission identified the winner teachers:

  • Class tutor of Tbilisi Public School №53 Tamar Vardosanidze for the best integrated lesson in mathematics and natural sciences;
  • Teacher of Batumi Public School №15 Eliso Mikaia for the best lesson in Georgian language;
  • Teacher of Batumi Public School №2 Nargiz Beridze for the best integrated lesson in Georgian and English.

One of the teachers, Tamar Vardosanidze presented the winning lesson in the presence of her class at MES.
