Famous education expert, Professor of the University of Connecticut, Head of Educational Psychology Department, Swaminathan Hariharan, along with the specialists of the National Examination Center work on developing High School Exam system in Georgia. Swaminathan Hariharan, together with the foreign experts took part in the three-day seminar at Courtyard Marriot. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Irine Kurdadze got familiarized with the seminar as well.
In the scope of the workshop, foreign specialists and representatives of the National Examination Center assessed the tasks given in the experimental testing to the 12th graders and analyzed them. Sections of the tasks were divided according to the difficulty. Samples of the testing were calibrated.
Swaminathan Hariharan is an author of the theory that is the basis of CAT exam model. Famous education expert Jane Rodger participated in the seminar as well.
