First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Koka Sepherteladze and First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Eka Zghuladze awarded the winners of the competition I Love My Police with the portable computers, certificates, diplomas and prizes.
Competition I Love My Police was carried out by MES in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. VI-XII graders took part in the competition of writings, while VII-XII graders participated in the photo competition. Art competition was held among the children of two age-groups – I-VI and VII-XII graders.
Koka Sepherteladze and Eka Zghuladze awarded the winners of the final round with the diplomas and prizes: holders of the first place received 700 GEL, the second place – 500 GEL and the third place – 300 GEL.
5th graders of Tbilisi Public School №169, Mariam Chanturia and 11th grader of Tbilisi Public School №145, Ana Javakhadze took the first places in the art competition. 9th grader of Ozurgeti Public School №3, David Shalikava won the writings’ competition while Elene Glazova, student of Tbilisi Public School №168 took the first place in the photo competition.
Favorite participants of the Ministers were identified as well. They were awarded with portable computers. Favorite participant of Dimitri Shashkini is Darejan Japaridze - the 2nd grader of Daba Abastumani Public School, Adigeni region. Favorite participant of Vano Merabishvili is Dimitri Kanchaveli - 9th grader of Tbilisi Public School №136.
9th grader of the Public School №141 was awarded with the Distinguished Prize for the successful participation in the competition of writings.
Competition of writings and paintings covered three levels: school, regional and final rounds. Schools presented the best two paintings and writings in the regional round that were selected through the secret voting by one teacher and the schoolchildren. Totally, 66 paintings and 29 writings won the regional round and authors of them were awarded with certificates.
