Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini met with the President of International Republican Institute (IRI), Lorne W. Craner and  IRI Eurasia Division Director, Stephen Nix in the scope of his official visit to the USA.

Participants of the meeting discussed already implemented and ongoing reforms as well as  future plans in the frame of the second wave of democratic reforms.

According to the Minister, all promises  given to the society in the frame of the democratic reforms are fulfilled. Most important is to inform Georgian society that our American partners got familiarized with our reforms and value them  as democratic reforms are response to 2008 aggression against Georgia.
