Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini visited the teacher of biology of the Public School №10, Ketevan Dolidze at home, wished her happy New Year and presented with the personal computer.
Ms. Dolidze has been working at school for almost 50 years. She was named as the best teacher of the city two times for developing innovative methods of teaching. She was involved in the Selection Board of Higher Educational Institutions. Ms. Dolidze was selected as an Associate Professor at the Georgian Academy of Ecological Sciences in 2001. She was awarded with grant by the Open Society Georgia Foundation in 2004. Numerous articles about her activities were published in different magazines. In 2010, in the scope of the Teacher’s International Day, Tbilisi City Hall awarded Ms. Dolidze with the medal and certificate for her distinguished contribution to the development of the children.
Ketevan Dolidze still holds pedagogic activities at school, systematically supervises the ongoing processes and highlights the significance of the education reform. Ms. Dolidze permanently works on own capacity development. Minister’s present made her especially happy as she will be able to share world’s experience in the education area and find innovations through the computer.
Dimitri Shashkini thanked the merited teacher for her productive activities, wished her long life and noted that the most important is to remember merited teachers and respect them.
