The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mr. Akaki Sepherteladze and Majoritary MP of Senaki Municipality Mr. Guram Mesabishvili presented a new school project to the residents of Village of Nokalakevi. They also visited the site of the school that will be built in compliant with modern standards.
Up to 200 schoolchildren will be studying in the new school. The school will be constructed under the supervision of the Ministry’s Agency for Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development and will be fully exploited by September, 2011. Demolishing of the old building of the school has already begun, that’s why up to 150 schoolchildren will continue their studies in the building of village council.
Three schools were partially renovated last year in Senaki. Overall, there are two fully refurbished and ten partially rehabilitated schools in Senaki. In 2011, a construction of one school will be finished and rehabilitation of 7 public schools will be undertaken.
