The president Opened New School in Jugaani

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini opened a new school in the village Jugaani, Sighnaghi.
Old building of the school was built in 1960-ies. World Bank funded the construction works of the new building that began in 2008.
The new school is in compliance with modern international standards. It has library, gym, outdoor stadium, computer lab, civil defense and safety classroom. 268 schoolchildren study there.
The school already has achievements. The schoolchildren of Jugaani public school participate in National Olympics and conferences. Schoolchild of 12th grade Mariam Kavtaradze won the English language conference last year. 7 teachers of the school passed the teachers certification exams. One native English speaker teacher works at this school.
The President of Georgia presented excellent pupils of the school – Salome Kikilashvili, Maka Popiashvili and Mariam Zedelashvili with the portable computers.
