Resource officers spent one day with 20 Gldani boarding schoolchildren. Along with resource officers schoolchildren attended the screening of movie “New Year Fairytale” in Amirani Cinema. The resource officers also presented schoolchildren with new year gifts.

According to the Resource Officers, their participation in similar events is very important as they are willing to make contribution to the right upbringing of the schoolchildren.

The aim of the Resource Officers’ charity campaign is to take part in useful events and personally explain the sense of their activities to the public.

In order to keep schools safe, Resource Officers commenced their activities in the Public Schools of Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Poti, Gori and Rustavi. Resource Officers’ duty is to prevent conflicts and provide the schoolchildren with any kind of aid. They are not allowed to punish the schoolchildren. They are responsible to care for the safety of the children. 

New initiative that is being implemented in the frame of the Safe School Programme, envisages maintenance of the safe school environment.
