The second group of English language teachers arrived to Georgia in 2011. In the scope of the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” foreign teachers came to Georgia from USA, England, Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Finland, Philippines and Litva.  

Along with English language teachers, Italian language teachers have also arrived to Georgia. After passing the trainings the teachers will be distributed to the schools of Kakheti region and Tbilisi and will get involved in the education process together with the local teachers

First Deputy Minister Koka Sepherteladze announces that in the scope of the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” foreign teachers will continue to arrive in Georgia in 2011 and will be distributed to schools of the east region.

At the present time 1000 foreign teachers work in Georgia. Next year the number of foreign teachers will equal 1500.
