The agreement of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Computer Company “Algorithm”.
In the scope of the agreement company “Algorithm” will support constructing a computer factory in Georgia that will be finished by June 2011. New factory will produce Net books that will be distributed to all first graders by the initiative of the President.
The event was attended by Brain Gonzalez, head of Intel global educational project. Intel supports the project “Computers for first graders”.
Delivering Net books to schoolchildren is aimed at establishing modern standards in Georgian education system.
Net book that is designed as a supplementary source will be actively used in the educational process together with the textbooks. The textbooks, supplementary books and educational programs will be installed in the Net books.
