Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini observed the proceeding of the contest for IT specialists. Those IT specialists who will be selected as the finalists will provide a technical support to 2011 High School Exams.
High School Exams 2010-2011 will be held in Georgia according to CAT examination model for first time. For the exams to be carried out well the infrastructure and internet access at schools should be appropriate. For this reason the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia started the contest of IT specialists.
About 1500 applicants from all over Georgia were registered to participate in this contest. Applicants should pass the tests and interviews. Approved specialists will be distributed to the public schools and with the help of the Ministry will provide technical support to the organization of the High School Exams at schools.
Candidates from Tbilisi have already passed the tests. Candidates from regions will take the tests on February 19-20. Hundreds of approved candidates will be hired for the job.
