20 schoolchildren of №15 Samtredia boarding school visited reconstructed Kutaisi. The event was organized in the scope of the joint project of School Resource Officers Agency and Georgian National Tourism Agency. The schoolchildren visited cultural monuments in Kutaisi. They had tours to Bagrati and Gelati. The schoolchildren got presents from Georgian National Tourism Agency.

The cooperation between two agencies will be strengthened through organizing joint events. The aim of such events is to inform schoolchildren about the cultural heritage of Georgia.

In order to keep school safe the resource officers commenced their activities in the Public Schools of Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Poti, Gori and Rustavi. Resource officers’ duty is to prevent conflicts and provide the schoolchildren with any kind of aid. They are not allowed to punish the schoolchildren. They are responsible to care for the safety of the schoolchildren. 

New initiative that is being implemented in the frame of the Safe School program, envisages giving parents guarantee of their children’s safety.
