Third Round of National School Olympiad

Deputy Minister of Education and Science Irine Kurdadze and Director of National Examinations Center Maia Miminoshvili attended a third round of National School Olympiad at Tbilisi Public School №166.

The third round of National School Olympiad will be held in Tbilisi from March 5 till March 20. 

The chart below shows the number of students who have passed the third round according to the subjects:

Up to 2632 schoolchildren participate in the National School Olympiad.

National School Olympiad is held annually in the following subjects: Georgian Language and Literature, Mathematics, Foreign Languages, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics.

Olympiad is held in three rounds in Georgian, Armenian and Azeri languages.  The finalists of the third round – 10 schoolchildren will become the members of National Team and will participate in the International Olympiad.

 Supporting the gifted schoolchildren, promoting school reform, encouraging schoolchildren, teachers and enhancing a learning process are among the aims of Olympiad.
