Dimitri Shashkini Opened the Reconstructed University Hall at the GTU

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini and the Rector of Georgian Technical University Archil Prangishvili opened the reconstructed university hall. They awarded the participants of the project “1000 Trained GTU Students” organized by GTU students’ self-government.

The rehabilitation works of the GTU university hall were carried out by the financial support of Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency. The university hall for 700 people is equipped with modern technologies. Symposiums, conferences and presentations can be held there.

By the announcement of Dimitri Shashkini, the improvement of education infrastructure is as important for the Ministry of Education and Science as improvement of education quality.

In the scope of the event, the report of GTU students’ self-government for year 2010 was presented to the public. The presentation was also held on GTU priorities for year 2011. Public was informed about the results of the poll that was carried out during the trainings.
