From now on, schoolchildren of Tbilisi Public School №157 will take sports classes in a refurbished gym.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Irine Kurdadze visited a renovated gym of the school and attended a final round of championship in Basketball. 

Rehabilitation of the school gym was undertaken by Ministry’s Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency.

Tbilisi Public School №157 is one of the biggest schools in Vazisubani district and up to 1400 schoolchildren study there. Renovated school infrastructure fully meets the requirements of modern standards and schoolchildren can take different sports classes at the gym.

Tbilisi Public School №157 actively organizes championships in football, basketball and athletics.

Basketball competition was held among VIII and IX graders, winner team was awarded with the cup and certificates.
