National Examinations Center disseminated a special announcement on the tests of the Unified National Examinations. As the exams come closer, periodical publications appeared in press boxes featuring the sample “tests” for preparation for the Unified National Exams.
To the attention of schoolchildren, prospective students, teachers and parents, National Examinations Center highlights that these publications mislead the schoolchildren and prospective students.
The announcement of the National Examinations Center emphasizes that the Center is not responsible for the quality and relevance of the tests of the above mentioned publications. The Center is not also informed who has compiled these tests. Prospective students can get prepared for the Unified National Exams with the help of the publications issued by the National Examinations Center annually in each subject.
As to the school leaving exams, schoolchildren should consult “ Minimal Standard of 2011 School Leaving Exams” , which is posted on the web sites of the National Examinations Center (www.naec.ge) and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia” (www.mes.gov.ge)
At the same time, National Examinations Center plans to arrange a pretest in April , the schoolchildren who are about to pass the school leaving exams will have opportunity to take pretest in all subjects and practice the tests before the exams.
