The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation announce the contest of fundamental researches. The aim of the contest is to get sufficient knowledge in different fields of science.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Nodar Surguladze and the Director of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation Sulkhan Sisauri held a meeting with the representatives of higher education institutions on the conditions of the contest.
In previous years the fundamental researches were financed in the scope of the state scientific grants contest. The conditions of the contest are different this year.
According to the requirements of the contest, the duration of each project should be up to 3 years and sum of money allocated for each project should be less than 50 000 GEL. The projects of the contest will be assessed by the international experts.
By announcement of the General Director of the Foundation fundamental researches will be oriented on innovations and theoretical and experimental analysis.
The representatives of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation will hold meetings with the staff of Higher Education Institutions and Scientific Researches Centers in order to provide them with the information on the requirements of the contest.
