Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini paid a visit to professional educational Center “ Ikaros”. The Center is oriented on preparing a qualified workforce in Tourism and Service sectors.

Duration of the learning programs at “Ikarosi” is from 4 months to 2 years,   the center offers programs in 14 specialties, among them are: Barman, Cook, Pastry Cook, Hotel Specialist, Hotel Operator, Waiter, Receptionists and Restaurant Manager.

The college is provided with up-to-date material and technical equipments, it also has workshops according to professions, such as for example: kitchen, pastry, bar, IT room etc.

From September new learning programs will be offered that will prepare Guides, Tour Operators, Escalator and Elevator electric mechanics. Experienced specialists will provide an instruction for prospective Escalator and Elevator Electric Mechanics to guarantee a safety of population at large.
