Minister of Education and Science Dimitri Shashkini paid a visit to Free University to get familiar with a project “Learn Today - Teach Tomorrow”. The Minister visited a library and laboratories of the University. He also held a joint press conference with the Chair of Representative Board Kakha Bendukidze.

Dimitri Shashkini says that the Free University is one of the leading universities in Georgia and, therefore, like in other similar universities, tuition fee is high. That is why launching a new project is very important as it gives talented children an opportunity to study among their peers.

As the Chair of the Representative Board highlighted, the best students can study in Free University and get the quality education, irrespective their financial means and place of residence. That’s why the project “Learn Today - Teach Tomorrow“ was launched.  All students can pursue their Bachelor’s study without paying tuition fee, gaining bachelor’s degree, become successful and cover tuition fees for the newly enrolled students throughout next four years.

Free University is the only higher educational institution so far in Georgia that offers this opportunity to the students.
