Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dimitri Shashkini awarded the winners of “Chaglari International Olympiad of Young Inventors”. Minister presented personal computers to Archil Inasaridze for his invention in engineering, to the representative of Togolese Republic Abdulativ Abdulgaphur and the representative of Azerbaijan Azer Askaron for their inventions in Chemistry and to the representative of Afghanistan Luksegbedge SIka for his invention in Physics.
2150 schoolchildren study at educational institution of “Chaglari”. International Olympiad for Young Inventors is organized every year and it is aimed to raise schoolchildren’s interest in science. During the Olympiad the representatives of different countries have the opportunity to share their experience and knowledge.
First International Olympiad of Young Inventors was organized in 2006 and the winners of the first Olympiad were awarded by the President of Georgia. This year representatives of 30 countries participated in the Olympiad.
At “Chaglari” educational institution all humanitarian subjects are taught in Georgian and technical subjects are taught in English.
