Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia identified the best schoolchild, teachers, school principal, resource officers, private and public schools as well as the head of the resource center of 2011 year.

  • The Best Schoolchild – Sandro  Sakhvadze, 10th Grader of Tbilisi Public School №122
  • The Best Teacher – Eter Eloshvili, Tbilisi Vekua Physics-Mathematical School
  • The Best Teacher – Kathrin Brehm, German volunteer teacher working in Georgia in the scope of the program “Teach and Learn with Georgia
  • The Best School Principal – Shorena Bunturi, Tbilisi Public School №157
  • The Best Resource Officers – Eka Enukidze, Kutaisi Public School №30; Ivane Goginashvili, Rustavi Public School №10; Zurab Laghidze, Gori Public School №3
  • The Best Public School – Tbilisi Public School №10
  • The Best Private School – Buckswood International School “Tbilisi”
  • The Best Head of Education Resource Center – Ketevan Tchipashvili, Kvareli Education Resource Center

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Dimitri Shashkini awarded above selected nominees with special awards and noted that MES will always encourage the successful schoolchildren, teachers, principals, as well as private and public schools as they are focused to achieve success.

The best schoolchild, teachers, school principal, resource officers, private and public schools as well as the head of the education resource-center will be revealed every year.
